Dear Connie,
I am McNeely researcher, interested in info on William Dingess and Nancy McNeely. Nancy McNeely Dingess Clairbourne died in Shelby County, IN, she migrated there with some of her siblings. I am descendant of Samuel one of her brothers. Just returned from WV. I found some court notes in Cabell County Courthouse reference a case of Nancy Dingess plaintiff vs John Dingess defendant for trespass. Do you have anything on this? Also interested in any information concerning the divorce of Nancy from William. Couldn't find any info. I have some passed on info that there was a settlement between Nancy and William that she waived her dower in his property. Would appreciate anything concerning the above issues. Many of the McNeely's had land transaction with Peter and William Dingess in what was then Cabell County. I do have some info on this, happy to share what I have. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Maurice McNeely
