Hi Neil,
I was pleased to read your posting, I feel sure we are related, albeit distantly, since most of my paternal relatives come from Linkinhorne and North Hill. My Gt. Grandmother was Jane Dingle Richards (b. 1850, Linkinhorne). She married Henry Thomas Haley (b. 1843, N. Hill), in Linkinhorne Parish Church in 1865. Her mother was Mary Ann Dingle, father William Richards, a mine captain. I have traced one branch back to Edward, 1591 Linkinhorne, who married Susan in 1615. His father Thomas 1574, and Grandfather John came from Lezant. Have had difficulty collating the various lines - it was a big family. Would be grateful for any information you have, and I will see whether James Dingle appears in my charts.
Look Forward to hearing from you
Sheila
