Jocelynn,

The information I have shows Edward Carter married Frances Sallee about 1807 in Scott, KY. He married Nacy Crockett about 1780 in Deleware. I also show Nancy C. Dingle born about 1807, as the first born of Edward and Frances Sallee.
She is the sister of my husband's great grandfather. Since I have no date of death for Nancy Crockett, I don't know the whole story. It could be she died giving birth and Edward married shortly after and considered the baby as Fances' or the dates are off a few months.
Thanks for the info on Nancy C Dingle's marriage and death.
Do you know what the "C" stands for. I'm guessing either Carter or Crockett, which just adds to the confusion.

Doris
