I believe I have decoded the origins of Edward Carter Dingle. There were a number of Edward Dingles. At the beginning of the 1800's there were two Edward C. Dingles who were cousins - both had Delaware & Kentucky connections. I'd be glad to send you a copy of my file if you're interested.
