Maureen,

Richard , b.1810 Egloshayle, did have an older brother, William, b.1796. According to data passed down in the family from their brother James b.1800 Egloshayle, William died in London, no spouse noted. Since all of the other children had spousal information, I assumed that William had never married. Does this William sound like yours?
