My mother's name was Edna (Dingle) Moffitt. She was born in Brownsville, PA. She had a brother named Raymond. His second wife was named Helen. He also had 3 other sisters named Cora, Blanche and Bessie and I believe a brother named Thomas. My mother was the youngest. We went to Brownsville, PA alot when I was younger to visit Uncle Raymond, Aunt Bessie and Aunt Cora. Aunt Cora is still living with her daughter Charlotte in Cleveland, OH. She is 98 years old. I know Uncle Raymond died in the 1960's. He also had a daughter named Carolyn by his second marriage. Uncle Raymond's house was close to the elementary school in Brownsville. Their father's name was Edwin or Edward Dingle and was killed in a coal mine when my mother (Edna) was 4 yrs old. Their mother died when my mother was only 10 days old. Their grandmother raised them in Scenary Hill, PA I believe. I have been trying to trace the family history. If you can be of any help let me know. I have a picture of Uncle Raymond and my mother taken around 1960. I could email the pix to you if you think we may be related. Waiting to hear from you.
