Aaron, My great-grandfather, Philip Dingledine, was from New Market,VA. - in the area you mentioned. Some of his siblings were John Balser, Peter, Jacob, & Samuel. The family came to Am. in 1838. Philip & some of the brothers were under Lee's Army of Northern VA. My gr-grandfather moved to Lima, OH about 1 1/2 yrs. after the close of the Civil War. I have been trying to find out more about the family. Nancy D.Beck
