LYMAN G. DINGUS, 54, died at Grace Hospital Welch, WV. Monday morning. He was born and raised in Scott County VA, but made his home in Welch for many years where he was section Forman of the McDowell Company Mines. He was an active member of the Redmen having acquired the highest honors in that order.
He is survived by his widow Margie, two daughters, Mrs Dorothy Johnson and Mrs Ruth Lewis, and two sons James LLoyd Dingus and Glen Dingus, all of Marytown, WV. two sisters, Mrs Nannie Johnson and Mrs Katie Bronck both of Accomac, VA, two half brothers W.S. Peters of Coeburn and James Peters of Neon, KY.
Services will be held in Marytown at 10 am Thursday after which the body will be taken to the home of Mrs Mattie Cox in Nickelsville with funeral services from that home at 11 am Friday. Burial will be in the Dingus Family Cemetery.
