John F. WOODFIN died in St. Francis Co. [AR] prior to 20 January 1862.Thomas D. CHUNN appointed administrator in St. Francis Co., then in Woodruff Co. [AR] on 3 December 1867.On 9 May 1854, Sarah DINKINS of Marshall Co., Mississippi, gave a bunch of black slaves to her granddaughter, Mary G. WOODFIN, formerly Mary G. SCOTT, of the same county and state.Witness to this deed of gift was John F. WOODFIN.In July 1867, Thomas D. CHUNN was appointed guardian of the minor children of John F. WOODFIN, deceased:Lilly, Anne, C.G., and Minnie WOODFIN.
