I'm afraid I have almost NO information on this line. My husband's grandparents were Oliver Clark(e) and Lily Gillard. One relative has Lily's birth cert that is in pieces and faded beyond belief. Her birthday is listed as Feb 1882, reg.15 Mar 1882, subdistrict Cullompton(?). They think her mother's name is listed as Hannah Dinner. Her marriage lic. lists her father as Robert Gillard, lawyer. Her address was listed as Ingstry(?) Street, Birmingham. Relatives have letters written to Lily Clark from "sister Lilly" who was living on the islands between England and France. Oliver and Lily came to the US in 1910 and 1912. No one in the family has saved any info. Sorry I don't have anything else. Do you have any suggestions on how to proceed?
