Hi,
Sorry for the lag time in answering you.
I am researching my g-gf, Biaggio Di Paola, b. November 21, 1877 in Sant' Agatha di Militello, Messina, Sicily. He arrived at NYC on 18 December 1898, aboard SS Burgundia.
His father was also named Biaggio, his mother was Maria Grazia Pettinato. He had ten brothers and three sisters. I know that his sister Rosina/Rose, and brothers, Jack/Giacomo, Frank, and Tony/Joseph came to the U.S. The area of NYC where they first settled is East Harlem.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Joe
