Emilee, today I was surfing the net for Dipprey and your genforum message popped up. I have information on the Dipprey family in Texas and have traced it back to Germany in the late 1600's. I also have information on your ancestors in Texas. Your uncle Rufus Jr. that lives in Angel Fire NM reportedly has a great deal of information on the Dipprey's, John Parson Warden Dipprey who moved from Peoria Ill to Austin, TX in the 1870. I also have information on the family. Your Great Great Great Grandfather is my Great Great Grandfather, in fact from the information you provided, we are 4th cousins once removed. I can explain that. I live north of Lawton OK, but I am a Texan. I have talked to your 2nd cousin Ron Dipprey, it is curious that I have the same name as his younger brother. My wife is from San Antonio like you. Larry W. Dipprey
