Sherry -

The Flury/Flüri/Fluori surname is also found in Schiers and the other nearby towns in the Prättigau valley of Graubünden. So that family came from the same area and might well have been friends or relatives in Switzerland.

Henry's date of birth in 1879 makes spotting the exact details of his birth in Switzerland difficult. It may well be possible to find other members of his family in the 1900 census or in the Germans to America series of passenger ship arrivals. Not all people are readily found in those books, even when you know about when they came. It's just a matter of getting the data together, looking and crossing your fingers.

Regards, Mike
