I failed to mention one thing. Christina is a shot in the dark of a greater order than Else and Emma. Hugo Lensing of Rhineland Mo was a contemporary of Pauline's and was described in another letter I have as an uncle of my grandfather. To speak more plainly, Hugo might have been either the brother of Pauline or a cousin of hers. An individual who is a descendant of Hugo believes that Hugo's mother was named Christina. He knows of no maiden name for her. So, might Christina have been a Disch? That is only rank speculation on my part.
