I recently changed internet service providers and didn't tell many people. I am now
I don't where the original bible is. I suspect that it's in Maryland or Delaware. My great aunt Florence, who was a daughter of Elevenia Disharoon and Benjamin Brittingham, I believe copied the notes when she was visiting relatives in Salisbury. The cousins would have been the children of Marian Etta Disharoon and Charles Outer Mills. They had three daughters, Margie, (Etta) Gertrude, Vesta, and a son, Charles Clayton Mills. They were good friends with my aunt and her two sisters, who lived in Trenton, N.J.

It appears that the oldest set of notes were copied in 1913 because there is a note in a margin where someone used 1913 to calculate someone's current age.

In 1988 I was stationed at Dover AFB Delaware just prior to retiring from the USAF and I talked to Charles Clayton and Marguerite Mills on the phone. At the time they lived in Seaford, Delaware (1001 Middleford Road). I was going to visit them on a weekend, but the trip was cancelled. I truly regret having missed the opportunity. Who knows - they may still be living - they were in great health. Otherwise, to look for the bible someone might want to follow the descendants of John Wilson Brittingham or Frank J. Brittingham (sons of Elevinia and Benjamin Brittingham). They used to live in the Baltimore area.
Please let me know if you learn anything and good luck ! I hope to hear from you.
