I have wondered if there was a Hooper/Disharoon connection because of Waitman’s guardian appointment, but have never found one. We do not know the maiden names of a number of Disharoon wives during this period, so one could be Hooper, but this is just a guess. There would be no census records for that period showing who was in the household. Below are a couple of notes from my Disharoon Southern Timeline;
Isaac, Daniel, Timothy, Waterman [Waitman] & William own land in Franklin Co., GA, by this time. I am not sure they all lived there yet.
Source; 1807 Franklin Co., GA, tax list
27 Mar, deed of Waitman Disharoon selling 150 acres of land in Rutherford Co., NC, to Andrew Hamilton; witnessed by Edwin & Thomas Hannan
Source; original deed
[This must be when Waitman left NC]
8 May 1810— Waitman & Isaac Disheroon bought two tracts on Nancy Town Creek in Franklin Co, GA –part of tract granted to Joseph Martin Russell (100 a) & part of tract granted to Joel Thomas (50 a)--Waitman paid $211.50 & Isaac paid $288.50—deed says F.C. but was Recorded in H. C. Deed BK “L”, p. 134 wit: Caleb Griffith
Waitman Disharoon appointed guardian to Tolliafero Hooper, Franklin Co., GA
[Could there be a connection between the Disharoon & Hooper families?]
Sorry I can’t give you more help.
