I believe this was Elika Ann Bruton, daughter of Enoch Bruton (1813) and Nancy Smith (1815). Apparetnly, she was the 3rd wife of Seaborn Disheroon. They were married on May 3, 1866 in Floyd Co., GA. Thanks for your posting!! My husband is a descendant of these Brutons, and it appears that Seaborn Disheroon (b. 1828 GA) had a second wife named Elizabeth Holloway, daughter of Charles Holloway and Elizabeth Jones (or Vaughn). My husband is a descendant of this Elizabeth Holloway's brother, John Paul Kesterson Holloway. JPK Holloway's sister, Elizabeth Ann Holloway married Walter Raleigh Bruton, who was a brother to Elika Ann Bruton (both children of Enoch Bruton and Nancy Smith, as listed above. E-mail me if you are related to these family, please! Apparently this Seaborn Disheroon (or Disharoon) married Mary before 1850, she died about 1853, and then he married Elizabeth (maybe our missing Elizabeth Holloway), and she died between 1859 and 1866 and then he married this Elika Ann Bruton. The Floyd County GA marriage records had her listed as Elizabeth Benton, but the death certificate of her daughter, Lottie (or Lillie) or Lettie, shows that her mother's name was Bruton.
