Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Mary Elizabeth Disheroon b. 21 January 1851 in Walker County, Georgia d. 21 February 1916 in Ovilla, Ellis county, Texas. She is buried in Saint Paul Cemetery next to her husband John Francis Mathis who was b. 25 September 1837 in Tennessee (Maury or McMinn County I can't find out which). He died 12 February 1925 in Ovilla, Ellis County, Texas. Help me on this...It would appear according to our scribbled notes that her father was Waitman (Weatman) Disheroon (There is a big hoopla over the given name's spelling or even if it is the same person) b. 24 February 1824 in Georgia and died about 1850. Mother was A. Lucy (last name not recored). b. 26 October 1831 in Georgia and died 28 August 1902 in Carrollton, Carroll County, Arkansas.
Can anyone flesh this out for me. I have photos of the Cemetery, historical Marker, and grave stones if any of you would like copies. If you have photo of either of the above I would like to have copies. marywilmer@aol.com
