No one knows for sure the origin of Disharoon, but France is the best bet. Michael Disharoon, the first immigrant (1670s), named one of his land grants New France, but in French. I am working on a genealogy of this family, with over 800 Disharoons in my database. I am looking for lines down to the present to add to the database. If ever published credit will be given.
