Kathy,My ggggggrandfather was Waitman Disheroon, son of one of the William's.
I thought "Waitman" to be a curious name as his siblings and children all had more typical given names. If Waitman is a surname,
perhaps my ancestor was named for one of his
grandparents. Could you provide or direct me to information supporting that premise?Thanks
