Lydia Ellen Dishon(g) born 1858 who married David Van Syoc in Lawrence Co. Illinois on 09/13/1877 is my Great-Great Aunt. Her sister, Nancy (1852-11-3-/1932) married my Great Grandfather Enoch Bridwell. Lydia's parents were Samuel Dishon (1828-11/29/1897) and Susan Young (1827-7/19/1901). They are both buried in the Sumner City Cemetry, Section 2, Sumner, Ill. Sisters of Lydia besides Nancy are: Anna A born 1849, Sarah born 1854, Florence born 1861, Sophia born 1864, Rebecca born 1871, Martha A born 1880. Samuel Dishon is the son of Adam Dishong (April 21, 1790- Nov 3, 1874) Belfast Twp, Bedford, PA. Samuel's other brothers were John, Morris of Ohio and William of German Twp, Richland Co, Olney, Ill.
