The Macon County, Alabama 1860 census gives Edward Dismuke 54, Francis C. 42, Avington 18, Lucinda 18, James 17, Sarah
15, Jeptha 15, Edmond 9, Eveline 5, and Joseph 1. The 1880 Milam, Texas census gives Avington 36, Mary J. 31, Jefferson 11, Barbary E. 10, John M. 7 and Lora L. (my grandmother) 2. I remember family stories that Mary Jane Davis was related to Jefferson Davis, maybe thats who Warren Jefferson was named for. I hope this helps you. Retha
