Dear Helen,
Hi this may seem strange but I an wanting to talk to some of the Disney family regarding a possible family connection, I am a decendant of Cout Jean De Cessna from France born in 1671. There are several families in the U.S.A. who trace their family back to this man. Of them with direct provable ties are Cessna,Cissna, Cisna, Cisney, Sisney Cesna, Cesne, the spelling with the e on the end gave rise to the Cisney, Sisney lines. Our family has always been told of the Disney connection which took the "d" from the De(this was all before walt became famous) the Count was persecuted and fled France hence the name changes in his children. My question would be whether you are aware of this and know of its accuracy,I have spoken to Cissna's that i had never met before who also know of this family connection which would inculde the aircraft Cessna's and a couple of other spellings
thank you
a possible cousin
