In one respect, Walt Disney might have been considered "'infamous".
I read a book that claims that before WW II, Walt was considered "pro-Hitler" by the Hollywood crowd. most of who were strongly anti-fascist.
At one point in the pre-war years, he hosted a dinner for the Nazi ambassador who was resident in Los Angles.
That could explain the "infamous" remark.
