Hi My sister recently did work on our childhood home and in the walls were old newspaper clippings from wartimes @ 1900s. There is an obit for Lt Commander Edward Ogle Disney died in 1916, son of George W. Disney. He was in the Royal Navy. There is a photo and it resembles common young photos of the Walt Disney. I am looking for info on a connection to Walt. In the paperwork is also a green book cover for Swan Brand, an underwear company. I know Marie Swan was an ancestor of Walt's and thought there may be some connection as there is also a picture of an outline of a swan also on the cover just like the swan and dolphin hotel. Also it is interesting that Disney had the cartoon with Captain E.O. and this is Commander E.O.
The house was built around 1920 on Long Island, NY.
Thank you.
