I WONDER IF ANYONE AROUND THERE REMEMBERS THE OLD SCHOOLHOUSE NEAR THE BAKER FARM. IT USED TO BE THE DITCH SCHOOL HOUSE AND PEOPLE LIVE IN IT NOW.
THERE ARE SEVERAL MEMBERS OF THE DITCH FAMILY BURIED IN A CORN FIELD ON THE BAKER FARM. I HELD THE STONE MARKERS IN MY HANDS SEVERAL YEARS AGO. I WISH I HAD TAKEN THEM, THEY ARE DIRECTLY ANCESTORS OF MINE.
MR. BAKER TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS A LADY DOWN THE HILL FROM HIM WHO HAD AN OLD BIBLE AND THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE DITCH FAMILY.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT IT.

I HAVE A SISTER IN SAXTON & OTHER FAMILY IN INDIANA PA. I LIVE IN PORTLAND, OR. ancestorcarl2@thewoofen.com 503-232-5561
