My father is John Stanley Dittmer(b.1908 in Sioux City)
His father was John Francis Dittmer(1878-1913)
Supposed to have been born in Coatsburg!!!!!
Buried in Greenwood Park Cemetery,Sioux City.
John Francis'father was another John Dittmer
(maybe it's John Curd!!!!!!)

My father is 93 so some of his information may not be accurate but he says his grandfather(maybe John Curd?) was from Coatsburg but he doesn't remember his grandmother's maiden name, but thinks his grandfather's second marriage was to a woman with the last name of Peters.

I received John Francis' death certificate yesterday, and it says his mother's maiden name was C. Kermar. I could not find that last name anywhere in databases, so maybe they just guessed. Maybe her name was really Anna Christine Akerman. Maybe they were taking information off of an old document that said A. C. Akerman. If they missed the first initial "A." and missed the "A" in Akerman and thought the "n" was and "r" you would end up with C. Kermar!!!!!!

Do you have any information on John and Anna's children?
Please, please, please write back,(even if you don't think we're connected).
