Henry, Georg, Josef, Maria, Rose Dittman, Ilmspan
I am looking for any information on Henry, Josef, Georg, Maria, and Rose Dittman and their parents from the town of Ilmspan, Germany in the mid to late 1800's.
Henry was my great grandfather and was an electrician who met his future wife Rose Reinhard in the town of Neubrunn while he and his team were tying that town into their electrical grid.Henry was born in March 1898.He and Rose moved to the US about a month after their wedding in Oct. 1923.They stayed for a time with her uncle Christian Nahm in Pennsylvania before moving to Michigan. They had a daughter named Henrietta.Rose Reinhard's mother was Maria Reinhard, later Cook, maiden name Nahm.
Henry's brother Georg stayed in Ilmspan and took over the family farm after the death of his parents.
Josef and Maria Dittman moved to Neubrunn about the time Henry came to the states.
All we know of Rose Dittman was that she remained unmarried and probably in Germany.
Any information on this family would be appreciated.
Sincerely, Christopher Walsh
