Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Hi Mary,

We both are descendents of William Ditto [II]
and his wife Leah (Lego) (Natives of Harford
County, Maryland) who settled in Shelby County, Kentucky, in 1794. Colonel William
Lego Ditto [III] was their oldest son. William Lego Ditto [VIII] of Louisiana was the son of William [III] and Martha Kirklin (Smith) Ditto. I am descended from William [II] and wife Leah and their daughter Milcha (Ditto) Shean. Another daughter, Mary, Ditto married Price B. Nuttall. William Lego Ditto [III]'s widow Martha, married second Ditto Nuttall, the son of
Price and Mary (Ditto) Nuttall and moved with him to Louisiana.

You need to contact me at e-mail address:
rsriley@attglobal.net. I have the history
of the Ditto Family going back to 1700, and
it is printed in my book, History of the
Ditto Families, 1700-2000.

Regards, Bob Shean Rile
