Barbara, William Lego Ditto, b.ca.1820, KY, was a son of Col.William Lego Ditto, b.1770, Baltimore, MD, d.1822 KY, and Martha Kirklin Smith. Col.William's widow married 2nd Ditto Lego Nuttall, son of Price Brewington Nuttall and Mary Ditto, his sister. [see my notes under your Nuttall queries]. William and Mary Ditto were among the children of William Ditto and Leah Lego. William I was b.1745, Gunpowder Hnd., Baltimore, (now in Hartford), MD, the son of Abraham Ditto and Mary -----, and d.mar.1833, Henry Co., KY. Leah Lego, 1747-bef.1830, (b.Baltimore - d.KY), was a daughter of Benjamin Lego and Judith Brereton. I will send more on these families later. I know of at least one son of William and Lavinia, Frank W.Ditto, but have no other information on descendants. Frank was living in Ocala FL in the late 1920's, but I've lost track of him after that period. Could he be the Frank Ditto mentioned in the Texas querie? More later.
