I found some info on your father, here it is.
Dr. Irvin W. Ditton died at the age of 92. He was Ft. Waynes oldest praticing physician.
He praticed for 56 years, 41 of them in the same office at 1214 E. Wayne St.He graduated from Indiana University of Medicine in 1908 and started praticing a year later. He got his first auto in 1911, prior to that it is said he rode a bicycle everywhere instead of a horse and buggy. He even rode to see his patients. Before becoming a Dr. he was a teacher, 9 years in allen co. and 3 years in Wabash county schools. A native of Largo, and a member of First Christian church, Scottish rite, Mizpah Shrine, Knight Templers, During WWI he was a Major in the Med. Corp. He had ! son Ralph W and a daughter Hazel Penrod.Irvin is burried in the Lindenwood Cemetary. I also have Hazels childrens names if you need them.
