Thank you for answering my posting and thank you for the information you have given me. We are very distant cousins. Mary's older brother, Riley Draper, born September 24, 1837 in Markle, Huntington County, Indian - died October 20, 1910 in Greely, Weld County, Colorado was my great grandfather.
Mary's other brothers and sister were: William Draper, born July 07, 1843 in Markle (Rockcreek Township), Huntington County, Indiana and died December 25, 1848 in the same place. Solomon Draper, born January 18, 1845 in Markle, Huntington County, Indiana. (I do not have date of death. He became a lawyer and a member of the Nebraska State Assembly.) Benjamin F. Draper, born November 19, 1846 in Markle, Huntington County, Indiana. (I do not have date of death. He lived in Upper Alton, Illinois.)
Rachel Draper born September 03, 1849 in Markle, Huntington County, Indiana. Don't have date of death. Her married name was Bartlett and she had at least one daughter.
Albert N. Draper, born April 02, 1855 in Markle, Huntington County, Indiana. Don't have date of death. Markle Indiana is in Rockcreek Township. I don't know why the Drapers moved to Upper Alton, Illinois but both of Mary's parents, Albert and Rachel are buried there and I have seen and have pictures of their grave markers. I have some other information about the family if you are interested. I would love to receive the stories about David and Mary. I know very little about them. Thanks again.
