I have a book by dr. D. wilbur Devilbiss "Genealogy of the George Devilbiss Family"
On page 1 of section *, I find:
"Adam Devilbiss b 12/3/1794 d. 1/21/1883 m. 1818 to Anna Campbell b. 10/3/1796 d. 6/1/1882.
Adam and Anna had 4 boys and 3 girls.
Their 4th child was Ruth Ann Devilbiss b. 1829 d. 5/21/1915 m. 2/24/1849 to John M. Fetterling b. 2/24/1825 d. 2/28/1871
Ruth Ann married again to John Brannum.
Ruth A. Brannum had the following children by John M. Fitterling:
1. Maryland W. Fitterling
2. May Sylvanus Fitterling
3. John Elmer Fitterling
4. Anna Fitterling Felix
5. J.Z. Fitterling, son, died 4 years 10 months.
There is a granddaughter mentioned by Ruth Ann in her will: Anna Fitterling Camp, daughter of Maryland W. Fitterling.
I have more information on this ancestor.
