I have been researching the Dixon family for more than 18 years. I've personally researched every Dixon document found in the Court houses and Record of Deeds office. I have never seen the name of Matthew Dixon related to any of the Dixon's of Craven County, North Carolina.

What is your proof that this Matthew Dixon is a son of my 4th great grandfather William Dixon of Craven County, North Carolina? Can you prove this. Also, you mention the Brinson family. I am a direct descendant of Dinah Brinson who you say is the sister of this Mary Brinson Dixon. What is your proof that Mary the wife of William Dixon is a Brinson?

I can give you a lot of documentation that proves differently.

Sincerely,
Suzy Dixon Bennett
