Chris,

Really....... what is "mean and snide" is those individuals from your TN Dixon's that I've shared my research with freely and kindly, who have chosen to post my work all over the internet, and they did NOT give credit to all of us that have contributed to the research and they did so without my permission. They were told it was a rough draft of my research because there were things that still needed correcting. Yet, they didn't care. I've got no way of knowing if you did or didn't do the same.

I've tried to help you but all you wanted to do was argue with me. I'm in communication with two of your direct line cousins. James L. Dixon and Debra who could be of great help to you. I gave you the contact information for James L. Dixon. You came across as demanding and I didn't appreciate the tone you took with me. So, that is why I became distant and unwilling to do any more to help you. There are many others across this country that I've gone to great lengths to assist when asked.

To set the record straight, I do believe that we ARE distant cousins. but your line does not come from Choswell Dixon. Your line most likely comes from William Dixon the son of Walter Dixon, Sr. James L. Dixon can go to great lengths to show you this.

I'm here to assist anyone who descends from the Dixons of Craven County, NC. However, I will not be bullied into doing so by you or anyone else.

I've also told you to purchase the book, Here, There and Yonder, written by Robert W. Brinson. In this book it clearly states that Rev. James Brinson, Jr. moved to Bedford Co., TN and that many families moved with him. Including and more specifically the family of WILLIAM DIXON. Checkout Amazon.com for this book. James L. Dixon, purchased a copy for himself only yesterday. It was out of print for years but now there are still some copies left.

This is much more information than what you deserved to be told after scolding me.

Suzy
