I am apparently a first cousin, once removed, of Lennie Evelyn Dixson Anderson.
It appears your information in your query of July 17, 2000 corresponds with what limited genealogy I have in file. The only information I have relative to their offspring is listed on a 1914 "Widow's Application For Pension" in my file for the benefit of Mrs. L. E. Anderson who died May 4, 1928. It was given to me by one of the many Anderson descendants a few years ago.
The application was witnessed by a daugher, Margaret A. Cox, 118 Benard, Houston, Tx., wife of Dr. Robert L. Cox.
Lennie E. Dixson Cox had two brothers who were lynched, along with Joe Hardin, brother of John Wesley Hardin, a Texas gunfighter, at Comanche, Texas in 1874. See info on my book at:www.peppermillpubl.com
Do you know of any descendants of her two brothers, William A. (Bud) and Thomas Lee Dixson (Dixon)? Will appreciate any help and please advise if more information is needed.
