J C Doan (Komoka Ont. c 1880 - 1950)

Hi all,

I am trying to trace part of my family (maternal grandfather) J C Doan, but I have very little information to go on, as he never married my grandmother. I understand his initials were J C (or may have been J G) and at one point he resided in Komoka Ont, around 1914 - 1918. He was still alive around 1950, but have no more information than this. My grandmother's name was Lilias Buist, b.1884 d. c 1931. I understand she travelled to Canada from England and then returned, but not sure if he was originally from England, or came to England during the war and then returned to Canada.

Not a lot to go on, I'm afraid, but any help would be appreciated. It would be nice to know I have family somewhere in Canada!
