Francis Doan, born in Kentucky ? unknown info married Allie Leona Adcock, born 20 Jan 1888in Mississippi died 22 May 1951 in Los Angeles, California with last name of Webb.
Their children:
Mary Doan, born about 1907 in Mississippi
known as one eyed Mary, married a Jimmy McCraney, and she died in a California jail at an early age.
Charles Wilson Doan Sr. born 17 Jan 1912 Mississippi 14 Apr 1961 South San Gabriel, Los Angeles, California Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. (My direct line) There is a a Charles W. Doan Jr. and the III as well.
Myrtle Maude ? also known as Aunt Anie (sounds like Aynee)
married to an Adcock, lived in CA, has a daughter named Marilee Walters.
Rumor has it that Frances (what Charles W Doan Sr's death certificate stated as fathers name) was a horse theif and was hung for his crime. It was also mentioned that there was an Uncle Archie Doan that worked for Al Capone as a numbers runner??? The family lived in Texas and in California.
I can't find any more infor on my line. Where did our Doan line come from?
