I too have been looking for these Hezekiah Doanes! It seems both you and Joann have had information from the "top-down", whereas I have been plugging along from the "Bottom-UP"! I am decendent from these Doanes, and I have to document everything since there are so many gaps. I had to start with me, Joan Morrow Stiegel. My mother was Mildred Margaret Fonseth. Her Mother was Minnie Pearl Harden. Her father was William Abraham Harden, his father was Hezeikiah Hardin married to Francis Evaline Williams. His Father was William D. Hardin married to "RHODA DOAN" who is supposed to be the daughter of Benjamin Doan(e) from the Hezekiah Doane family that went to KY Harrison County, and Mary Burks was his wife. I needed to connect with some documentation the marriages and the military records, and the Ancestry.com site I paid $20 for three months, and the records have the citations there. I checked locally to see if that really connected the records and the documentation I needed(that was for the Harden line) and it was there at the courthouse, so I guess that if the milatary records are right, I printed off all all the ones I find so I will be able to find them later, just in case these search sites close down or my three months run out. I have gathered quite a bit of info, some is and some is not documented. I am ready interested in the Rhoda Doan. How can we find out how many children they really had? I ran a census Image off, but haven't found them yet. any info would be appreciated, and I will share more of what I have about all those Hezekiahs, I have found the spellings as Hesekiah, Hezzekia, Hezekia, so with the last name Doan, Doane, and Done, there will be lots of info to sort through, and being four of these guys-whew!!!what a job! Thanks!
