Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Cathy Brown's genealogy shows Susan Doane as the daughter of Daniel Doane and either Elizabeth Nickerson or Mary Spinckes (he was married twice) Daniel was the son of Israel Doane and Desire Nickerson. The Doanes and Killams wer among the famlies who moved from New England to NS in the 1760-1795 time frame. the Killams moved to NS in 1766 and are from Dedham and Wetham MA IN 1638. The Doanes came to Yarmouth in 1795 and are traced back to John Daone of Plymouth MA in 1630. E-mail me for a reference. Bill Ryan
