Sure, he is recorded in the Dea. John Doane Genealogy, p 418 which includes his portrait. He was commissioned by Pres. Jefferson 1809. In 1812 War, cruising the North Sea he captured many prizes including two armed brigs., and caused the release of over 100 American seamen in exchange for his captors. He 'was a known as a daring and intrepid commander'.
