Yup, for some reason he didn't want to be called "Millie"! He moved to his place over on Fletcher in the early '80's. We lived on Spann from '57-'59. We moved out into the "sticks" (or at least it was in the sticks in '59) in the Southeastern/Emerson area. I went to Public School #3 which changed to city school #111.
"Lissie" Graber was probably my Pop's Aunt Melissa.
John Roscoe Doane and Mae McMullen had 6 children. Virginia, Bettye, Bernice, Millard, John jr., (died in infancy), Robert (Uncle Bob) and Barbara.
I remember meeting "Aunt Maude" a couple of times when I was very young. It would have been in the early 60's.
