Dear Joy and others:
I would appreciate your guidance - I think I may have goofed up my data on my recent tie-in to the Doane/Twining families, and would appreciate any help you can give! I was raised in Bucks Co., PA (north of Phila.,PA) but just recently became aware of the connection.

I'm showing 2 Doane or Done lines coming in/out of Plymouth colony, and I "think" they may be connected! Here's what I have on an old line:

Descendants of John Done
Descendants of Richard Done

1        Richard Done       1500 -
..       +Katherine Legh       1504 -
       2        Ralph Done       1525 -
....       +Ellen Davenport       1528 -
...       3        John Done       1550 -
.......              +Ellen Done       1554 -
......       4        John Doane       1570 -
..........       +Lydia ???       1570 -
........ 5        Anne Doane       1600 - 1679/80
............              +William Twining       1599 - 1659
...........       6        William Twining       1619 - 1703
...............              +Elizabeth Deane       1629 - 1708
...........       6        Isobel Twining       1615 -
...........       6        Elizabeth Twining       1617 -
........ 5        Deacon John Doane       1600 -
........ 5        John Doane, Jr.       1590 -
........ 5        Martha Doane

The second line I have is as follows:

Descendants of John Doane
1        John Doane       1590 - 1684/85
..       +Anne Perkins
       2        Lydia Doane       1629 -
....              +Samuel Hicks
       2        Abigail Doane       1630/31 -
....              +Samuel Lothrop
       2        Ann Doane       1634 -
       2        John Doane       1635 -
....              +Hannah Bangs
       2        Daniel Doane       1636 - 1712
....              +Constance Snow       1646 -
...       3        ??? Doane       1665 - 1667
...       3        Joseph Doane       1668 -
.......              +Mary Godfrey
...       3        Constance Doane       1669/70 -
.......              +Geroge Shaw
...       3        Israle Doane       1672 -
...       3        Daniel Doane, Jr.       1673 - 1743
.......              +Mary Yates
...              *2nd Wife of Daniel Doane, Jr.:
.......              +Mehetabel Twining       1660/61 - 1743
...       3        Abigail Doane       1675 - 1764
.......              +Timothy Dimmock
...       3        Nathaniel Doane       1678 -
...       3        Rebecca DOANe       1680 -
...       3        Ruth Doane       1689 - 1772
.......              +Nathaniel Mayo
              *2nd Wife of Daniel Doane:
....              +Hepzibah Cole       1649 -
       2        Ephraim Doane       1638 -
....              +Mercy Knowles
              *2nd Wife of Ephraim Doane:
....              +Ann Walden

Would someone set me straight - is "Deacon" John Jones, John Doane, Jr. and John Doane born 1590. all the same person? I think they are, but sometimes our minds get befuddled!

Second, has anybody uncovered any further data on the Constance Snow/Daniel Doane controversey??? I sure would like to claim my piece of the "Rock"!!!

Many Thanks for any help given!
Frank Logue
