From what I understand,
1 Constance (Constanta) HOPKINS b: Apr/May 1606 d: Oct 1677
+ Nicholas SNOW b: 1599 d: Nov 15, 1676
2 Constance SNOW b: 1646
+ Daniel DOANE b: 1636 d: Jan 1728
3 Daniel DOANE b: 1666 d: Oct 1, 1743
Constance Hopkins arrived on the Mayflower, she married Nicholas Snow. Nicholas arrived here in 1623.
Their daughter Constance married Daniel Doane in 1662. Daniel was the son of Deacon John Doane. It is believed that Deacon Doane arrived in America on a private ship, not the Mayflower. Private ships did not have a passanger list.
The Association is still researching to locate the ship's name.
There is no documentation of theSnow/Doane union. It is said that someone saw the records, but later there was a fire and everything was lost.
The Association is still researching to locate Deacon Doane's ship's name.
