I have seen postings from time to time regarding the Doane/Mayflower connection by way of the unproven Hopkins route. There is another early female connecting line by way of Israel(3)and Ruth Freeman, ie: Edmund Freeman, John Freeman/Mercy Prence, Governer Thomas Prence/Patience Brewster, Elder William Brewster.
