Clarence was my 3rd cousin, twice removed, and I have is that he served in the US forces in France during World War I, and also with the Coast Guard Auxiliary during WW II.He was sent overseas on Sept 27, 1917, wounded in action on July 18, 1918, and discharge was on Jan 15, 1919. This can be found at Ancestry.com (Maine Military Men) 1917-1918.
One confusion about Frances (Fanny) is that I found her as Frances C. Wall and as Frances Creamer.I would have to go through my pile of notes to find out where I came up with that information. There is some information on this line at the Coburn Family Site.
You say they didn't have any children...so that explains why I haven't found any children for them. :)
Hope this helps.
