There is a Fred Dobler (born Christoph Friedrich Dobler) who came to America about 1878 from Wurttemberg, Germany, and married Catherine Tully in 1893.
Fred was a career soldier in the US Army and died in Tacoma WA in 1927. He was my paternal grandfather.

As far as our family knows, there is no connection with Jemima or Ferdinand. Fred descended from Jakob Dobler who was born in 1549.
