My grandfather was Patrick William Dockery. I was told he was from Roscommon County in Ireland. He passed in approximately 1966 -- I was told that he was approx 86 - 96 years old. Apparently his birth records were lost when the "Black & Tan" came to town and burned downed buildings. He came to North America as a young man, enlisted in Cdn Army and returned to British Isles during WWI. There he met his wife and brought her back as a war bride. It was said that he married a woman 30 years his jr, but on the marriage cert he declared her 10 years older and himself 10 years younger. They had 2 sons, 1 daughter while residing in Alberta, Canada. Family records have been lost over the years.
