Hello, I'm trying to get in touch with my fathers side of the family, so the story goes something like this. My dads name is Luther Wayne Dockery, he is a musician and has Cherokee lineage, the last i knew of his whereabouts was Knoxville Tennesee, where he had remarried a Dr. of OBG/YN and was living in Knoxville TN. He and my mom, Patricia Loraine Olson seperated when i was just a baby. I did speak to him once on the phone when I was around 15 yrs. old. I remember that he had a sister living in South Carolina? His mothers name was something like Myrna? Other than that , I have only seen one picture of him. He was on stage singing, and he was really tall with beautiful teeth and he had curly dark hair (mom said it was a perm. My mom passed away in 2005, then within 2 yrs my grandma, Edith Carroll Canter and her other 4 children passed. Edith Canter owned a Theater in Detroit Mich. around 1963, it was called The Unstabled Coffee house. Lily Tomlin even preformed there under my grandmas direction. So now that I am 40, born on August 31st 1971 in Detroit Mich. I really would love to meet my Dockery relatives. I believe my dad has other children, and growing up an only child myself, and without my Dad, I am reaching out for the chance to meet my long lost relatives. Also I would love to be able to tell my kids, and my new granddaughter about thier ancestors.

So any info would be greatfully heartfelt, and if you are family, Hi!
