Hi Chris, You and I seem to be researching the same William Dockery. While your follow on is with Hasting my is with his brother Balaam. The only thing I have on Hasting that might be of interest is what seems to be Williams' will recorded in County of Wake book C, Page 325 % November 1793. The will leaves to Hasting "...five Schillings, lawful money of this state, to be paid him by my executors."

What I have on William Dockery b 1728 Wake Co NC married Elizabeth Gibson and he died 1793-1818 believe his will was recorded some years before his death.

Father of William was - Mathuis Dockery b 1670 in Maryland and d 1740 in Queen Anne's Co Maryland Married unknown date Mary ? who was b abt. 1685 and died between 1730 - 1780.

Father of Mathuis was - Thomas Dockery b 1635 England and d 1700 Accomack Co, VA. Wife unknown.

Hope this helps. Bob
